Baby Boomer Generation

One of the major challenges North America will face in the years to come is its ageing population. In North America, a huge majority of the population is approaching or has already entered retirement. This is a result of the baby boomer generation. This generation consists of everyone born between the years 1946 and 1964. Making up a huge percentage of consumers and the labor force, as these baby boomers age the country changes with them. They affect what products are being sold and how they are marketed (think of those diet Pepsi commercials). However the biggest impact they will have is when they become senior citizens and leave the work force.
